Sometimes it gets in the way if you're not paying attention. The one draw back is the plastic rim around where your viewfinder is. I plan to use this case whenever I want to use my camera in the rain, snow, or on the beach. I was skeptical that a plastic case like this could really be water tight but it is. It did a great job and took pretty good pictures as well.
Make sure to perform the test included before use with the camera. This is a great idea for anyone with kids and wants playtime close-ups or just wants to be in the water. :) This waterproof camera case did a great job both at the pool and the ocean. I thought the idea great that the pictures dont have to be taken in the water but can be taken where the camera could get wet or dirty.
Had a whole day in the river captured perfectly~ would reccommend to anyone. Worked well for me.
Also the lens is a little to high to fit this case which resulted in a peace of dark plastic appearing on all my pics. The buttons are hard to reached as they are just under the plastic solder. I bought this as a cheap replacement for my MCDG1 Marine Case for Minolta Dimage X1 that got stolen in Miami airport a few months ago (grrrr.). I was disappointed by the fact that it's almost impossible to take underwater pictures with it, but it works well to protect the camera from water, sand etc.Pros: Waterproof, good protection.Cons: Very hard to take pictures while the camera is inside it.
It was written that it should fit for Sony Camera T9 but it is not fit exactlty, you should fix it each time you want to take a shot.
